Khmer red curry, a little different from the traditional yellow curry:
This red curry is based on several powdered spices such as sweet red pepper which is not very spicy, very hot and tasty turmeric, fleur de sel, a slight hint of annatto (small very red seed which gives a lot of color and which brings a sweet flavor to the mixture).
This blend of spices will enhance your fish, meat or vegetable dishes. It will bring a beautiful orange and festive color.
Far from the traditional yellow curry that you will find in stores, the Khmer red curry offered here is a warm and fruity blend of spices, with very little heat.
It goes ideally with duck, chicken, beef, shrimp and vegetables.
Best used at the end of cooking, allowing the vegetables to soak for a few minutes.
